Printing to ANY Windows printer now available with PCL6 support
A significant upgrade is now available for FormTrap for those with PCL6 option installed who want to print to ANY Windows printer, including specialist printers.
We found no suitable (reliable and functionally correct) display routines for PCL6, so we were forced to write our own. This operates in both FTDesign and for V7 Spooler. In FTSpooler, we now have the option of printing the GDI image of your document to ANY Windows printer.
True type fonts are registered with a vector-based print system and speeds are slower but acceptable for all except those printers with no true type fonts. For those, the graphic image is printed instead. – slowly.
This gives you access to printers from the smallest
casual-use barcode and label printers, specialist CD 
and ID Tag 
printers, up to large signage printers 
and everything in between.
