The Archive Tools tab allows you to compress
archives when they become too large. The results of the
compacting process are displayed in the logging window on the
tab. Click on the Compact archives button to compress
both archives.
Stop the Database
Service before compaction of archives.
Archive client(s) will lose their connection to the server.
After compaction, restarted the Database Service and re-connect
Archive client(s).
When you have configured your FTSpooler Archive, you can go
directly to the Services by clicking on the Services
button.
Once the FTSpooler Archive has been completely configured, you
can start the service. To start the FTSpooler Database Server
service:

Launch the Services console from
the Administrative Tools menu, or by clicking the
Services
button on the FTSpooler Archive console.

Select the FTSpooler Database Server
service.

Click the Start Service toolbar
button.
