There are three ways to view
the jobs: Events, Recent Jobs and Query .
Events allows users to view
each step taken by each job in the archive with a maximum of
10,000 records stored. Completed jobs are black with
uncompleted (still processing) jobs in
red. This option is widely used in
troubleshooting. If there are jobs in process that do not yet
appear in either the Successful or Failed jobs screen, check that job
through Events. Where jobs have been submitted to FTSpooler but
fail to appear in Events a problem in connection between the
submitting application and FTSpooler is likely.
Recent jobs shows completed jobs only. Unlike
the other views, it is updated automatically and is NOT
historic, showing only jobs completed since Archive Client made
connection to Server.
Query enables you to send specific queries to
the database. This takes more time but enables customization.
