Linux Formatting Programs
This is a restricted product, sold to developers of systems who want to run entirely in Linux and require FormTrap to format their documents to output either a printer language or as PDFs. The vendor takes care of email and similar requirements. The question of HTML Email is open for discussion with vendors requiring this facility.
These functions are available:
Text to XML takes any kind of text input and formats the FormTrap intermediate XML fileXML to XML takes XML input and reformats it to FormTrap intermediate XML file standardsLayout takes the FormTrap intermediate file and formats documents from it as one of PCLXL, PostScript or PDF format. PDF formats may vary widely, see manuals for details.
