Queue Properties
Select the queue to change by highlighting it. Update queue settings in the Properties Bar on the right side of the FormTrap Server Window.
Applications Tab
Applications tab selects applications, either supplied by
FormTrap or your own user and/or your user-written programs. This
tab DOES NOT produce a modified file for continued FormTrap Server
activity and is normally the final delivery for the transaction..
FormTrap application (as at start 2017) include FTLabelPrint and
TLS/SSL HTML Emails with PDF attachments, described below.
User applications are for purposes unrelated to FormTrap processing.
Applications turn standard batch programs into services run via
FormTrap Server.
Application work file and output file names (if used) must be unique to each and every execution (FormTrap Server multi-threads), hence the recommendation is to include the FormTrap-allocated unique file name [db_job_id] as part of any temporary file names used by the application as work and output file names.
Application Input is the file normally delivered to any of
the other delivery tabs, so is one of:
- the original input file (after input filters) where no formatting occurred, or
- the .xml file resulting from formatting

To add an application to this queue:
- Click the Add button, -- not
assigned -- shows in Applications:.
Press Name: to see available applications, select one.
Enter Recipient for the application if required, otherwise key the hyphen (-) meaning no recipient.
Click the Apply button to save the changes.
